I have been to this place a few times. Not my 1st choice of nail salon but my 2nd and closest to my house.I feel like the owner is bipolar, sometimes i felt she was nice and welcoming when i walked in, and other times I felt like she was bothered. I will not be returning again. Last time I went, I accidentally dropped a nail polish. I apologized like 5 times! At the end of my services the lady owner (Tina) charges me an additional $8 because of the broken nail polish. $8??? When I told her that was more than the price of a new bottle at retail price, she answered "because of the cleaning". Are you serious?? You prefer loosing a customer to a broken bottle of nail polish, half used and that you purchase at wholesale price?????? I understand I broke the bottle and would've been ok with an upcharge of $3 to $4. But $8 is a little ridiculous!!!Not my second choice of salon anymore, and won't be returning. Since they don't really value their customers!By the way, I read some reviews stating about the treatment to the employers and I once did experienced it, and felt uncomfortable with how the owner treated the employee during my treatment. They are a rip off, I went in for a pedicure, and was asked to pick a colour from a basket, which I did, to my horror when I went to pay, they charged me £40!!!! Which I thought was extortionate. I rang them and they said it was because i had gels, I was not given a choice or explained that normal polish is £25 and gels are £40 a huge difference!!! I always get a diff nail tech each time I go and haven’t had a bad experience yet. Male or female great nail techs! Great artistic ability. It’s the closest shop to my house so I went quite frequently when I finally found a nail tech that was talented and provided great service consistently. The hostile environment that the owners have created ran her off and she’s no longer there. There are now 1 or 2 other techs that are decent —good luck getting an appointment with them. I’M OUT!!! I'll start with the positive points:Staff is always friendly Prices are reasonable Atmosphere is cleanPedicures last longer than other local spas for some reason. The negative points:Massage chairs are a wee bit worn WHO provides the nail service completely changes your review and experience. I was there on Friday with a noon appointment for me and a dear friend. At noon, they were busy and we had to wait (understandable). My pedicure started before my friends (15 mins before hers) which meant our "chat" time was shortened. Bummer for us both. Biggest disappointment was that the nail tech that cared for my friend spent most of her time on her cell phone! So it was disruptive and not at all professional. At one point I looked over to my friend (since my service was completed first) and my friend was stranded in the pedicure chair while her nail tech was texting. I was embarrassed as I chose this location, and frustrated by the lack of service. Read Less

After being recommended by a friend I decided to give this place a try. Decor was pretty nice & the massage chairs were the best (that is why I'm giving two stars instead of one) but if you're looking for service I suggest you go somewhere else. I was the first person to walk in the door & the manager explained that the technicians would be arriving shortly. I waited very patiently & about 10 minutes later a young lady walked in. He immediately told her what I needed & that I had been waiting. Now, I'm not sure if maybe she was annoyed by him rushing her, but that's not my fault, I wasn't upset or anything. She proceeded with my services & did not say anything to me the entire time... not hello, hey how are you today, sorry for keeping you waiting, nothing! I just don't understand how you can physically touch another persons body without first speaking to them. Not to mention that the polish chipped on four of my toes after two days, barely making it through my birthday weekend. When I go other places, my toenail polish lasts for close to a month! They offer you drinks such as water, soda, juice and even wine :). My nail tech Nikki is the bomb.com! Every time I go in she never fails to surprise me with her work. I do the SNS dipped powder on my natural nails and love it every time. Everyone is very professional and the place is always clean and neat. After each pedicure you see all techs clean the spa chairs and supplies which is a plus for me as I'm a stickler for sanitary practices with salons that I visit. Read Less

The salon is always booked, but they never rush their clients in the chair. All the employees take their time with pedicures as well. If one person does not know how to do a design on toes they will ask their coworkers. It is very friendly, modern, chic, organized and clean salon. I drive 30-45 mins just to get my nails done here. The first time my nails were done, I loved them. The guy name Tony did my nails. However, yesterday was my second and last time I get my nails done here. I loved my toes but my nails are horrible. The young girl Holly was rude with her sarcastic comments and she called herself fixing what the last nail tech did wrong. I almost walked out but, my morals and standards are beyond what these people give out. Ugly attitudes and terrible customer service. Just imagine, $117 for terrible service. I don't like service where only some people have the art of class and skill...others didn't get it while being raised...horrible... don't waste your money or time. Also, I sat in there from 2 PM to 6:30 PM for them to fix bad work that they did, never got fixed. In addition, respecter of person, the reason I didn't tip along with the horrible manicure and attitude. I like to show my appreciation but it's a hit or miss guys... I'm telling the truth. A hidden Gem! I'm visiting from Atlanta and needed a quick fill, checked the area and while I found 7 nail salons nearby this one had the best reviews/ratings. I decided to take the chance and drive further. The reviews were right on point. The staff is super friendly and they do great nails. I was undecided (at the last minute) about my nail color and she was pleasant to let me change but also to make suggestions. Definitely not a big deal but in an area where you are saturated with nail salon options, it's the small things that count! Will definitely return next month as I'm in Orlando often. Read Less

Will never come to this location again. Worst nail service I have ever received. Tyna has so many great reviews which is why I came to this location only to be treated poorly and spent 125 on garbage nails that are coming off within the same week. Needed a quick gel manicure & pedicure while in Orlando didn't want to spend a ton of money (I currently live in DC and those prices are crazy!) but still wanted a good job done. Came into metro west nails based upon the reviews. So the good first- my girl did a great job tackling my ingrown toe nails and peeling cuticles. She took her time and made sure my nails looked perfect, which they did (this is why I gave 3 stars. I wish I could give 3.5 cause my nails do look better than average) but I do still have some complaints. First- it took forever...2 full hours for a pedi and gel mani..definitely longer than I would have guessed! Also, I was confused by why the main guy would consider a gel polish and a manicure two different services to get gel polish and a manicure. I mean maybe it's me, but if I am asking for a manicure, I presume polish comes with that. And if I specify that I want gel polish instead of regular polish, why do you keep asking me if I want manicure? That's what I asked for, I just want different polish. This is not a difficult concept, is it? The presumed owner/boss explains that it is two different services, but how is that?!? Ugh! In line with this apparent "charge for every little thing" approach, it was $5 extra to get the bottom of your feet scraped with the cheese grater tool! So that apparently isn't a part of the basic device either. *eyeroll* One more con- although the pedicure chairs are really nice, all of them don't work correctly. The one I sat in would not massage my lower back. It stayed stuck up by my neck. Highly annoying since I have lower back issues and could have really enjoyed a nice back massage. Of course I didn't realize this until I was already seated in the chair with my feet in the water. Again, all of that said, I was satisfied with the end result..my toes look much better than they were and my nails came out good but I doubt I will be back. I don't like to be nickel and dimed! After searching for a local salon with really nice clean salon that I can relax at, I have found a locally owned and friendly salon.This is my 3 trip in 2 months and I'm happy. I waited to write this review because i wanted to see the setting at different timesA big part of customer service is a smile and answering a clients question. They answered questions without judgement and have educated me on some techniques they use.I have natural nails and their helping my nails stay healthy.They're modern, trendy, clean, ALL TOOLS are SANITIZED. First time here, the place is nice and clean. The service was good, they offer complimentary water, wine or soda. The lady I had was very friendly and efficient. I decided to get a design on my nails with rhinestones and all. I thought I'd be there for awhile but she was pretty quick. I showed her a picture of how I wanted it and my nails almost look identical to the picture. She did a great job :) Read Less

Stopped in on Monday night after having a horrible manicure from Tip Top Nails not too far away. This place...I like this place a lot. Instantly greeted when I walked in the door. I explained my situation (had a gel mani from another local place and it was horrible, chipped after 2 days, etc) , and I was told it'd be a few minutes but they'd get me the gel colors to choose form. So they hand me this bucket full of color swatches. Not just like 50...they had at least 100 options for gel colors!! YAY!!! I go back to the station and the lady files off my existing gels, but she did it in a way I've never had done: first, she used an electric file to the top layer, then she soaked my nails. After she soaked them the first time, she took the electric file to them again. Rather than the manual file, this didn't ever burn or hurt, and my existing gels chipped off/filed off. I liked this much more than the traditional file, soak, scrape technique. I didn't get an actual manicure, just a color change. But it took less than 30 minutes for the whole thing from removal to payment. The girl who did my nails was great and friendly. The shop isn't big, but they use their space and fit everything in. It's dimly lit, but they have lights over the pedicure chairs and manicure stations to provide plenty of light for the technicians. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a little pricier, but when you pay for quality, that's never a deterrent for me. I'll definitely be going back!!! Read Less
