Richard Greico was half asleep while shooting his scenes, and yet he still may in fact be the best actor in this since he's at least trying to inject some sort of emotion into his lines. (granted those emotions are weary and sleep deprived) The story is very, very loose---basically there's a bunch of high profile users on this social media site (called appropriately enough "Killer Selfie") being murdered off--it's not even a mystery who's murdering them off one by one since the movie reveals that it's not supernatural, it's just a mustached guy and his twin brother (same actor who played Pedro in Napoleon Dynamite!!!) which kinda takes some of the suspense outta this early on. Every actor in this acts like they don't want to be in a movie right now. The concept is that an app called #KillerSelfie (or #SelfyKiller, depending on who you ask) pays you to stream stuff live and also someone is killing people. A bunch of the laziest cops in the world start investigating the case. We meet a lot of victims, but don't actually folllow anyone specific. I legit thought the woman in the opening scene was the main character and it took me, like, 20 minutes to realize that was going to be her only scene (she dies offscreen and we only are vaguely aware that's the death everyone's investigating).

Near the end of the movie I was like "wait is this some kind of con? Are the ladies all in on it?" and everyone in the chat was like "aahahahaah good joke" but I was being serious and I still would like this question answered because I think I'm right!! I'm not even flagging this for spoilers because if you can figure out the plot of this movie, you're a genius for whom my dumb questions will not ruin the mind-fuck that is this film.

A must-see for anyone with a twitch entourage that can add real world context and hilarious commentary so you don’t feel like YOUre the one that’s fukt in the #hashtag. Or maybe it’s a must-see for all our elders still telling us to stop social media. Yeah this movie’s definitely for them. -

I've watched a lot of student films, and films that feel like student films.
This is the most student filmy thing I've ever seen and it's immensely powerful.
